Time: Setup begins at 8:30 AM | Launches start ~9:30 AM | Wrap-up ~3:00 PM. We appreciate your assistance setting up and breaking down the launch equipment.
Location: New Field – Plains Road Field (URI property, across from the solar fields in West Kingston)

This hands-on STEM event is hosted by the University of Rhode Island (URI) in collaboration with the Rhode Island Model Rocket Association (RIMRA) and is open to students, families, educators, and rocketry fans of all ages.
Rockets and Motors:
Only Class 1 rockets with low- and mid-power motors are permitted. Please plan accordingly and review your equipment to ensure it meets these limits.

Launch participation: $10 per flyer for the day
Spectators welcome – Free!
Lunch available on-site: Hot dogs, grilled cheese, drinks, and chips will be available for sale
